Paul Banks is the Chief Executive Officer at CLP. Paul is also currently Executive Headteacher at The Boswells School and Roding Valley High School. Paul has extensive experience of school leadership as a Headteacher, having been a Headteacher since January 2010. He is a highly experienced HT whose leadership was described in last OFSTED report ‘strong, clear and visionary’ and Roding Valley High School was recognised in 2014 by Minister for schools as being in top 90 schools in England with most sustained improvement in GCSE results over previous 3 years. Paul is also currently chair of the Association of Secondary Headteachers in Essex (ASHE).

Ruth is the Chief Finance Officer at CLP. Ruth joined the trust in April 2017. Ruth has extensive experience in financial management of academies having previously worked for an academy trust in Southend.

Ruth is the Chair of the Board of Trustees at CLP. Ruth has been Chair of Directors at Boswells since academy conversion in 2012 and prior to conversion was chair of the school’s Governing Body. She has been Chair of three Primary School IEBs assisting with their conversion to Academy status and she is currently Chair of Essex School Governors Association. Current Academy Governor member of Schools Forum. Ruth has a professional background in HMRC working within the HR and Office Procurement sections. Ruth sits on the Finance, Curriculum and Staff and Student Committees as well as being the link trustee for safeguarding. Term of office: 8th October 2015 to 7th October 2019
